The Strida features a ultra durable 7000 series powder-coated aluminum frame, which is rustproof, lightweight, and rugged. The Strida also features a kevlar belt drive train that is rated up to 50,000 miles and needs no grease. Handlebars are mounted horizontally, so the rider can sit comfortably upright with an excellent view of the road while seating is remarkably comfortable with a gel seat that has a built-in suspension. The seat can be adjusted up and down the bike's stem to accommodate riders from 4'4" to 5'4".
The wheels are injection molded 14" wheels that are rustproof and never need truing. The tires can be changed without removing the wheels (spare tires and tubes are available at any bike shop). The Strida is designed to need only a single speed. The gearing is 56 gear inches, which is roughly equivalent to 4th gear on a ten speed bike. The Strida folds easily, quickly and fits in small places, i.e. your closet or even under your bed. When folded, the bike size is 40" x 20" x 9" (with folding the handlebars). Finally, the ultimate stopping power comes from the Strida's reliable disc brakes.
